Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced algorithms for autonomous driving, including search-based, sampling-based, optimization-based methods, and decision-making under uncertainty.
- Integrate various motion planning and prediction algorithms, assessing their effectiveness in real-time scenarios.
- Design and maintain a robust and scalable codebase to facilitate swift exploration and evaluation of diverse motion planning methodologies.
- Collaborate with upstream perception and prediction components, as well as downstream trajectory optimization and control systems.
- Engage in code reviews and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Promote a product-focused engineering culture through innovative research and development initiatives.
