Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Proven experience in tooling design, with a focus on Valves, Pressure Vessels, Structural Components, or Lifting Equipment. Strong understanding of applicable design codes and safety regulations. Proficiency in defining budgets and work programs for complete design project lifecycles, including requirements capture, conceptualization, and detailed design. Proficient with 3D CAD software (preferably Siemens NX or similar), or a willingness to learn. Familiarity with PLM systems (Teamcenter or equivalent). Knowledge of engineering analysis tools (MathCAD, ANSYS, ABAQUS, or similar). BEng or equivalent professional qualification in an engineering-related discipline. Attributes: Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal. Strong leadership qualities. Commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget. Integrity and the ability to inspire trust in others.

Your Responsibilities:

Create innovative tooling, jigs, fixtures, and components that align with customer specifications.

Develop comprehensive outline designs.

Analyze and resolve emerging challenges with effective solutions.

Assess the overall performance, reliability, and safety of the final product.

Adapt and refine designs to fulfill customer requirements.

Estimate project budgets and scopes effectively.

Manage risks and identify opportunities throughout the design process.

Compile detailed product reports and documentation.

Engage in continuous learning and innovate new methodologies.
