About the job
As a valued member of our maintenance team at Essel Environmental, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep of our facilities. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and the Onsite Resident Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our physical plant and assist in the daily operations of the property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs on appliances, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Handle minor repairs on glass, tiles, carpets, and fixtures.
- Perform painting tasks for both interiors and exteriors as needed.
- Execute carpentry work including door fittings and flooring refinishing.
- Assist with custodial duties and general grounds maintenance.
- Participate in an on-call emergency schedule for after-hours support.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, refurbishments, and inspections.
