Role Overview
As a Social Media Analyst within the Rapid Response team, you will be pivotal in monitoring social and media platforms for mentions of OpenAI and its executives, identifying emerging narratives, and assessing reputational risks. This role is tailored for an individual deeply engaged with social media dynamics, capable of detecting signals ahead of mainstream awareness. You will collaborate closely with our strategic response team to ensure that leadership is informed of emerging issues in real-time.
Your primary focus will be on signal detection, narrative analysis, and determining when escalation is necessary. Rather than drafting responses, you will transform high-volume online discussions into actionable insights, helping the organization gauge the evolution of narratives and the urgency of responses required.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct continuous monitoring of social platforms, forums, and media for mentions related to OpenAI and our leadership.
Identify emerging narratives and coordinated campaigns while assessing reputational risk signals.
Maintain situational awareness across various platforms including X, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
