Responsibilities:Design and implement product features for over 820 million monthly active users, ensuring scalability to handle 100,000+ RPS. Own product features and ensure their quality throughout the development cycle. Maintain clean, well-documented code with comprehensive test coverage. Review code from peers to uphold high standards within the organization. Mentor and guide junior team members. Create reusable modules and libraries for future projects. Optimize applications for speed and scalability. Engage in the hiring process for new team members. Stay calm under pressure and embrace continuous learning. Requirements:4+ years of experience in medium to large-scale server-side software development. Proficient in backend programming languages such as Clojure and Java in production environments. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithmic complexity. Familiarity with system design and architecture principles. Experience with MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and PostgreSQL at scale. Knowledge of POSIX-compliant operating systems (development on macOS and deployment on GNU/Linux). Comfortable using command-line interface (CLI) tools for daily tasks. Proven experience in writing unit and integration tests. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset toward resolving issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Nice to have:Familiarity with frontend technologies, particularly JavaScript and React.
