At Innovatrics, we specialize in developing cutting-edge biometric technologies that facilitate secure onboarding, border control, elections, and digital identity solutions in over 80 countries. As a Software Engineer focused on SDK Integration, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our embedded and mobile biometric solutions by aligning our technical capabilities with the needs of our clients.

In your initial months, you will:

  • Dive deep into our technologies and products to fully grasp the SDKs, components, and various use cases we support.
  • Engage directly with our SDKs and platforms, primarily developed in C++ and Rust, with API bindings for Kotlin, . NET, and Python.
  • Gain insights into the functionality, inputs, and outputs of our SDKs and platforms to facilitate their integration into customer solutions.
  • Develop SDKs optimized for Embedded Linux-based platforms.

As you settle into your role, you will begin contributing by:

  • Taking charge of designing and developing Biometric Toolkits utilized by hardware vendors and system integrators.
  • Collaborating with engineers across teams to ensure our solutions maintain high performance, portability, and a modular architecture.
  • Mentoring junior engineers while helping establish coding standards and best practices.
  • Reviewing partner architectures and offering recommendations for optimal integration strategies.
  • Leading debugging efforts, escalations, and root cause analyses across teams.

Within your first year, you will have the chance to:

  • Work with stakeholders, platform teams, and R&D departments to ensure alignment on product requirements.
  • Influence the direction of solution roadmaps and strategies based on market needs and maintainability.
  • Lead the creation of biometric toolkits and oversee the integration of biometric solutions for key OEM partners.

What You Will Help Build

As part of our compact team, your contributions will be implemented quickly. From day one, you will work on production features and influence global-scale projects in a matter of weeks.

Your efforts will be crucial in:

  • Developing and delivering high-performance biometric solutions tailored for resource-constrained platforms.
  • Creating use-case specific, well-documented biometric toolkits to facilitate seamless integration by our customers, including hardware vendors and system integrators.

Working Hours & Location

Bratislava, with a hybrid home-office setup (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).

You possess a robust background in embedded systems, AI model deployment, and technical communication. You relish tackling practical integration challenges and collaborating with customers, engineers, and sales teams.
