Join Our Team as a Soldering Technician in Galway
Primary Function:
We are seeking a skilled soldering technician to become part of our dynamic team in Galway. In this role, you will engage in a variety of soldering tasks, including surface mount, plated through-hole, and hand soldering, alongside performing inspections on PCBs and components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize microscopes and soldering tools to add or remove small components on printed circuit boards, perform soldering of wires, and conduct PCB repairs.
- Comply with company safety standards and control measures for electrostatic discharge (ESD).
- Ensure timely repairs and upgrades on customer products.
- Collaborate with team members to leverage available resources for effective and economical repair of units.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Exceptional hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail to guarantee the quality and precision of soldering work.
- Proven experience in soldering electronic components is mandatory.
- Ability to effectively manage projects.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:
- IPC-A-610 certification is a plus.
