Key Responsibilities:Design and develop mixed-signal designs, guiding them through the complete product life cycle, from requirements definition to production release. Engage in avionics architecture trade studies, performance analyses, and roadmap direction. Conduct de-rating analysis, worst-case circuit analysis, FMECA, and system reliability assessments. Develop avionics systems that effectively interface with various sensors and actuators. Support the definition and implementation of hardware-to-software interfaces for control law execution and automated testing. Assist in risk assessments, design for test/manufacture/cost, and root-cause analysis of discrepancies. Participate in technology development initiatives at the program level, addressing mission and safety objectives.

In this role as a Staff Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with our Design and Development teams to create robust avionics systems that seamlessly integrate with our propulsion systems. You will be responsible for developing avionics hardware that connects measurement and control components to control software, interfacing with various devices such as valves, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, accelerometers, BLDC motors, and communication busses. A solid understanding of electronics for harsh environments, along with a passion for building avionics for space applications, is essential. You will also play a key role in defining and implementing our verification strategy, leveraging best practices and client feedback.
