Responsibilities: Partner with leadership to strategize and define the long-term vision for developer tooling and workflows. Design and implement the foundational components of the game’s tools ecosystem. Champion the technical vision and architecture for the tools engineering team, ensuring alignment with production and management. Set the technical direction and best practices for tools architecture and implementation. Mentor engineers at various levels as the team expands, providing constructive feedback to support their professional growth. Collaborate efficiently with production, design, art, and other engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable, and purpose-driven tools. Promote tooling best practices across various teams, including design, tech art, UX, and gameplay engineering. Evaluate and identify new and shared developer tooling technologies, considering internal and external opportunities for the team. Create documentation and training materials on new tools and workflows for internal stakeholders. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software engineering, including a track record of delivering live or shipped products at scale. At least 3 years of experience working on game development tools. Familiarity with various game engines and tools, including Unreal Engine and emerging tools from Epic. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

You will engage with state-of-the-art technology and seek innovative solutions that will surprise and delight our players as we bring this new game to life. You will report directly to the Director of Software Engineering within the team.
