Lightspeed is seeking a Strategic Analyst to become an integral part of our team. In this pivotal role, you will bolster our enterprise and business strategy initiatives by performing detailed analyses, uncovering valuable insights, and aiding teams in making informed, data-driven decisions. Your responsibilities include:
Assist in enterprise and business strategy efforts through comprehensive research, analysis, and insight generation, including participating in annual strategic planning and ongoing strategic reviews
Decompose complex business challenges and conduct both quantitative and qualitative analyses
Create models, consolidate data, and develop presentations to facilitate executive-level decision-making
Aid in the formulation of business cases, strategic plans, and actionable recommendations
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather insights and drive the execution of critical initiatives
Monitor and report on the progress and performance of initiatives against established milestones and objectives
Qualifications:
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail
Adept at structuring complex problems and navigating ambiguity in a rapid-paced environment
Comfortable working with data and translating findings into actionable insights
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions
A proactive approach with a strong willingness to learn and take ownership
Fluency in English is required as we operate globally with employees and clients beyond Quebec.
Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory):
1–3 years of experience in consulting, strategy, finance, or a related discipline
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
