We are on the lookout for a Strategic Technical Account Manager who is eager to make a difference, cultivate meaningful relationships with senior stakeholders, and adeptly integrate infrastructure decisions into business strategies.
As a Strategic Technical Account Manager (TAM) at DigitalOcean, you will be part of a dynamic team that is reshaping the future of cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
Your Responsibilities:
Strategic Relationship Management
- Manage the technical relationships with our most valuable customers, including Fortune 500 companies and leading global technology firms.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor and primary point of contact for executive-level stakeholders, fostering deep, enduring connections with VP and SVP-level contacts.
- Facilitate regular technical and strategic alignment meetings (QBRs, EBRs) to proactively shape customer roadmaps and maximize the value derived from DigitalOcean's infrastructure.
- Serve as a thought partner, encouraging customers to modernize, optimize, and scale AI/ML and GPU workloads leveraging cutting-edge cloud architecture patterns.
Executive Presence & Influence
- Engage confidently with C-suite and VP-level executives, demonstrating clarity and authority.
- Deliver impactful, board-ready presentations regarding architectural decisions, cost-performance trade-offs, and avenues for innovation.
- Navigate intricate organizational structures to ensure DigitalOcean maintains executive alignment and account oversight at every level.
Technical Consultation & Innovation Support
- Offer expert advice on designing and scaling AI/ML, containerized, and GPU-intensive workloads on the DigitalOcean platform.
- Support customers with architectural planning, workload migration, performance optimization, and incident management.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to resolve customer challenges and influence the product roadmap in alignment with enterprise requirements.
