Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related technical field. Proficient in designing and analyzing basic components. Strong understanding of load paths and structural analysis principles. Experienced in the use of CAD or FEA software. Exceptional written and visual communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with strong organizational and project management capabilities. Adaptable and eager to learn in a dynamic environment. Self-motivated team player, enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced atmosphere. Physical ability to lift over 50 lbs. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with team leads, suppliers, and engineers across design, stress, and materials & processes to develop airframe structures throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Design, develop, and execute testing protocols for both composite and metallic structures.
  • Create test fixtures and setups utilizing CAD software, specifically NX.
  • Conduct structural analysis of airframe components using established handbook methodologies and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Correlate test findings with predictive models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including analysis reports, test plans, and results documentation.
