Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 4 years in hands-on technical support or a related discipline. At least 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, audio-visual systems, and/or systems support. Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a capacity to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders. Project management certification (e.g., PMP) and IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are advantageous.

Join our dynamic Technical Field Engineering team as a Tech Services Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in delivering on-site technical support and maintenance across our regional offices. We are looking for a candidate with a robust technical background who takes a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support and Maintenance:

  • Provide prompt and effective resolution of technical issues in regional offices, addressing hardware, software, network, audio-visual, and general system challenges.
  • Assist with on-site installations, maintenance, and upgrades of technical infrastructure and equipment.
  • Proactively monitor support operations to identify areas for improvement and spearhead the implementation of enhancements.

Project Management:

  • Support technical projects, including office relocations, infrastructure upgrades, and new technology rollouts.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure technical support aligns with overall business goals.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget, meeting quality standards.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Serve as the liaison between regional offices and the broader Tech organization, working closely with the Org Change Management team to facilitate seamless communication and coordination of tech initiatives.
  • Regularly update management on ongoing technical challenges, project progress, and opportunities to enhance the technical experience for associates.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Stay abreast of technological advancements and trends in field engineering.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and the implementation of innovative technologies to improve service delivery and associate satisfaction.
