About ENS Labs
Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is a cutting-edge, decentralized naming system built on the Ethereum blockchain. It provides a way to connect human-readable names (like "myname.eth") with standard Ethereum addresses and other distributed systems.
As a pioneering protocol on Ethereum, ENS has successfully registered over 3 million .eth names, alongside more than 20 million ENS names from renowned organizations including Coinbase, Uniswap, and Linea. Our robust integrations span hundreds of applications, wallets, protocols, and browsers within the thriving crypto ecosystem.
Since 2018, ENS Labs has been at the forefront of developing the ENS protocol, creating the ENS app, open-source libraries, and essential smart contracts. Our mission is to simplify and enhance crypto-powered experiences, making them as user-friendly as traditional web browsing. Join us in evolving our protocol to ENSv2, where we aim to establish a more decentralized, flexible, and scalable future for ENS.
