We are currently looking for a Tool Technician (Mechanic) for our rental facility in Phoenix, AZ. We're searching for someone eager to grow with us, bringing energy and passion to their work. This role involves providing general maintenance and repair for a wide range of customer and company-owned tools and small equipment, contributing to the future of construction. Technicians will have the chance to work with the latest equipment in the industry.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay available after 40 hours. This position may require on-call scheduling, with additional compensation provided.

Key Responsibilities

As a Tool Technician, you’ll utilize our technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and swiftly diagnose issues using data from numerous makes and models. With real-time information at your disposal, you can quickly identify root causes and corrective actions for each problem, allowing you to work more efficiently.

  • Implement safe job practices while repairing equipment.
  • Comfortably use technology (laptops, tablets, and mobile devices).
  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on various rental and customer equipment and tools (including pneumatic tools, material lifts, chain hoists, core drills, welders, pipe threaders, and small engines) under the guidance of senior technicians while exercising a high degree of independent judgment.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner daily.
  • Assist with the pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements is preferred.
  • Participate in year-round company-provided OEM training.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
