The Warehouse Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing daily warehouse functions. This position ensures the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipment of goods. The manager leads warehouse teams to drive operational excellence, uphold safety and compliance standards, and maintain exceptional inventory control and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and team leaders to meet productivity, quality, and safety objectives.
- Ensure precise inventory management through regular cycle counts, audits, and robust system controls.
- Monitor and enhance warehouse KPIs such as productivity, order accuracy, service levels, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Oversee labor planning, shift scheduling, and management of warehouse budgets.
- Initiate and drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at boosting efficiency and reducing operational costs.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, customer service, and IT teams to align with supply chain goals.
- Supervise the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
