What You Will Be Doing at Woodard & Curran:
As a Wastewater Operator, you will play a vital role in the operation of our Plymouth, MA Wastewater Treatment Facility and Collection System. Your daily activities will be diverse, presenting unique challenges and learning opportunities as we strive for 100% compliance through diligent process monitoring and a thorough maintenance program. In this position, you will engage in the daily operations and maintenance of equipment at a Sequential Batch Reactor Wastewater Treatment Facility. Responsibilities include conducting daily rounds, performing laboratory analyses, maintaining thorough records, controlling processes, thickening sludge, undertaking maintenance projects, and ensuring overall facility and grounds upkeep.

Safety is paramount in our operations. Therefore, all work will be carried out following established safety, operational, and emergency response procedures. Operators will participate in an on-call rotation for plant coverage outside of standard business hours, which may include weekends. Additionally, you will be required to respond to emergencies and work in adverse weather conditions as necessary. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
