To thrive in this role, you should possess:A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.5+ years of experience in workplace design or interior architecture, ideally within a corporate environment. Strong knowledge of design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. Exceptional project management skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and presentation abilities to articulate design concepts and decisions. A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating innovative and inspiring workspaces.

Role Overview: Workplace Design Manager

Based in San Francisco, the Workplace Design Manager sets the vision for Ripple’s global office environments. This role ensures every Ripple location reflects the company’s brand and supports its teams, from design standards to daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Establish Design Standards

  • Develop and maintain Ripple’s global interior design standards for consistency across all offices and project types.
  • Build and manage a design documentation library, including finish specifications, material palettes, FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Set up design governance checkpoints throughout project lifecycles.

Design Execution

  • Create and review space plans for new sites, expansions, relocations, and modifications in Ripple’s portfolio.
  • Translate programming needs and workforce data into effective spatial layouts.
  • Work closely with project management and facilities teams to maintain design quality during project delivery.
  • Serve as the main internal design contact for external architects and design firms on all active projects.
  • Lead design review and approval processes, offering feedback to keep projects on brand and on schedule.
  • Oversee the full FF&E program: guide furniture design and selection, manage procurement, and coordinate installations across all locations.
  • Direct environmental graphic design and brand experience from concept through fabrication and installation, ensuring a unified and recognizable Ripple identity in every space.
  • Keep as-built floor plans for all Ripple offices up to date, making sure partner teams have reliable documentation for daily operations and emergencies.

Brand Experience and Innovation

  • Shape the look and function of Ripple spaces to support employee experience and strengthen brand presence.
