What will you do as a Youth Support Worker SKJ?
You will provide ambulatory support to approximately 8 to 14 children facing complex challenges. This includes children with developmental disorders such as autism, ADHD, and other issues like attachment disorders, depression, and anxiety. As a Youth Support Worker SKJ, you will often work independently, delivering specialized support in various settings, such as at home or school. The nature, content, and frequency of the support can vary significantly.
Your team will also include family coaches responsible for the entire care trajectory and setting goals for the support. Your input into the care plan and objectives is crucial! You will work directly with the children on these goals, ensuring that you address their specific needs. You will track progress and maintain communication with all stakeholders involved, such as parents and schools. You will have control over your hours and must be able to work independently. Nevertheless, your team will always encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing among other youth support workers and family coaches.
What we offer you
A salary ranging from €3,036.66 to €4,338.69 gross based on a 36-hour workweek, with salary classification based on knowledge and experience.
