About the Apprenticeship:

Qualification: AAT Level 3

Duration: 18 months

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our friendly team as an Accounting Apprentice. This role is a remarkable opportunity for those eager to advance their careers in accounting, as our client is committed to supporting your journey towards ACCA or CTA qualification.

About Our Client:

Our client is a team of qualified accountants and consultants, known for their innovative approach. They provide comprehensive solutions tailored to small and medium-sized businesses and serve a diverse range of individuals and charities across the UK.

Role Overview:

Starting date: ASAP

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Total working hours: 37.5

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts and personal taxation
  • Handle payroll and bookkeeping
  • Prepare management accounts for small and medium enterprises
  • Utilize spreadsheets and cloud-based accounting software
  • Conduct general administrative tasks
  • Compile trial balances and accounts
  • Archive financial statements and accounting documents
  • Prepare financial records for client invoicing
  • Engage with clients via phone for information gathering
  • Research financial trends in the UK market
  • Assist team members with various tasks as needed
  • Adhere to company policies, promoting good practices in health and safety, equal opportunities, and confidentiality

This list is not exhaustive, and you may be expected to undertake other relevant tasks as required by the business.

Training Provided:

  • Level 3 AAT qualification
  • Training conducted online through a blend of self-paced eLearning and live classes
  • Functional skills in English and Mathematics, if necessary

Future Opportunities:

Upon completion of your apprenticeship, our client will continue to support your training towards ACCA or CTA qualifications, should you choose to pursue them.

Additional Information:

Please note that you will be working from a residential home office. The client's Head Office is located in London.
