Your Impact
In the role of Controllership AI & Automation Transformation Lead, you will spearhead AI, analytics, and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency, quality, and scalability of Controllership processes.
You will manage specific projects and workstreams from inception to completion, collaborating closely with Accounting, IT/Engineering, and Internal Audit to achieve measurable results. This includes leading discussions with process owners to identify current challenges, defining business requirements, and utilizing AI and automation tools to create solutions. You will also partner with IT/data teams to empower process owners to develop solutions independently or engage directly in the solution-building process.
What You’ll Do
Location: Seattle, WA (flexible for other Axon hubs)
Reports to: Director, Chief of Staff (Controllership)
- Develop the AI transformation roadmap for Controllership.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact automation/AI opportunities across various Controllership functions, including Accounting Operations, Tax, Financial Reporting, Internal Audit, Revenue Accounting, and New Product Introduction.
- Define project scope, requirements, and success metrics; build ROI cases based on efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with Finance Systems/IT/Engineering to implement solutions utilizing automation, analytics, and AI/LLM-enabled tools.
- Create and validate analytics to ensure accurate, explainable, and auditable outputs.
- Communicate transformation results to leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Oversee project execution, including timelines, risk management, stakeholder updates, and rollout planning.
