About the Role
As a key member of our Application Security Team, you will play an instrumental role in safeguarding vital information and ensuring the security of our software products. We are committed to enabling our developers to be agile and produce secure applications, especially given the high-stakes nature of our work in defense, intelligence, and commercial applications.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Product Security Assessments. Conduct comprehensive security evaluations of our product and service portfolio, utilizing whitebox, greybox, and blackbox testing methodologies. Collaborate with offensive security teams and engineering departments to fortify our offerings against sophisticated threats.
• Architectural Security Expertise. Serve as the primary security advisor for product architects and engineers. Engage in threat modeling, risk assessments, and the implementation of security controls to mitigate identified vulnerabilities, ensuring our designs adhere to a secure-by-default approach.
• Strategic Security Leadership. Take ownership of transformative security initiatives that influence the entire organization. Your contributions may include implementing software supply chain security measures, establishing hardware-backed GPG key signing protocols, and driving security automation efforts.
• Vulnerability Discovery and Remediation. Innovate methods for identifying and addressing security weaknesses in our products. Utilize static and dynamic analysis, security scanning tools, and collaborate with our incident response team to tackle product security challenges.
