Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) G8 in synchronizing aviation capabilities with overarching Department of Defense (DoD) and Army objectives. Facilitate budget formulation, execution, and analysis to enhance resource allocation for aviation modernization and equipping. Oversee a budget portfolio that includes aviation communications, mission command, mission planning, and air traffic control systems, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations. Utilize expertise in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process to support optimal resource allocation.

About the Role

We are currently searching for a skilled Army Aviation Staff Synchronization Officer (SSO) to join our Force Development Aviation Division (FDV) team. This role involves providing critical support to the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS) of the General Staff -8 (G8) and aiding the Director of Material. The goal of this position is to deliver specialized analytical expertise and programmatic assistance in force development processes, data systems integration, and modernization efforts essential to fulfilling the Army's mission.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience within Army aviation units and will be responsible for offering recommendations to optimize resources and enhance the modernization of equipment. Responsibilities will include analyzing aviation communications, mission command and planning, air traffic control systems, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

This position is located in the National Capital Region (NCR) at a designated client site, and is contingent on client approval and contract award.
