Requirements:Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or the willingness to obtain certification within 30 days of hire. High school diploma or equivalent experience; a bachelor's degree in education or a related field is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Genuine passion for working with children and families affected by autism.

Role Overview: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

This position is based in Jackson, Tennessee. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism. The role centers on implementing behavior intervention plans, supporting skill development, and creating a safe, nurturing environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Follow behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help children reach their goals.
  • Deliver individualized ABA therapy focused on building skills, reducing challenging behaviors, and improving communication.
  • Document data accurately during each session to track progress and inform treatment assessments.
  • Apply behavior management strategies to address difficult behaviors and encourage positive changes.
  • Work closely with BCBAs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care.
  • Support parents and caregivers by sharing ABA techniques that help transfer skills from therapy to daily life.
  • Keep session notes, progress reports, and other required records organized and up to date.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of children during all sessions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, including routine cleaning and sanitizing of materials.
