Key Responsibilities:Execute harness dressing tasks, including routing, lacing, shielding, and clamping of cables and harnesses within spacecraft modules. Install avionics equipment (boxes, heaters, RTDs, connectors) following interface control documents (ICDs) and installation drawings. Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, installation drawings, and work instructions. Ensure adherence to IPC/WHMA-A-620, NASA-STD-8739.4, and company quality standards. Utilize tools such as torque drivers, wire strippers, crimpers, heat guns, and harness forming boards. Conduct point-to-point continuity checks and assist in-process quality inspections. Maintain cleanroom protocols and electrostatic discharge (ESD) controls during assembly operations. Document work performed and report any non-conformances (NCRs) to engineering and quality teams. Collaborate effectively with engineering, quality, and integration teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in avionics or aerospace assembly is preferred.2+ years of experience in avionics harnessing, ideally in aerospace or satellite manufacturing. Proficient in harness dressing standards and practices within aerospace environments. Familiarity with CIRRIS or similar harness testing systems is advantageous. IPC/WHMA-A-620 or NASA workmanship certification is highly desirable. Able to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and work instructions. Exhibit strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to quality.
