Key ResponsibilitiesConduct automated tests and generate reports for functional and performance evaluations of spacecraft electronics. Plan and implement functional and performance test plans, including both manual and automated test cases. Develop standardized operating procedures for testing operations and related processes to effectively train operators across various environments. Provide initial troubleshooting, assist in root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for any test or support equipment failures. Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate test equipment and support tools. Offer feedback on Design for Manufacturing and Testing to enhance processes and test configurations. Required QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in testing complex electrical systems. Proficiency in a Linux environment, including command-line tools and scripting. Programming experience in languages such as Python, C++, or similar. Hands-on experience with electrical testing tools, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies, as well as data acquisition systems. Experience in developing and executing test plans and procedures.

Avionics Test Specialist

As an Avionics Test Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in executing and managing both functional and performance tests on various flight hardware and software systems. This includes testing printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), subsystems, and entire spacecraft under a diverse range of environmental conditions such as vibration, thermal vacuum, and electromagnetic interference/electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC). Your responsibilities will also encompass running, processing, and debugging test failures in collaboration with engineering teams to determine root causes and solutions. Additionally, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate test equipment and fixtures within the laboratory environment.
