AECOM is seeking a skilled and visionary AVP, Design-Build Manager to spearhead some of the most intricate and prestigious transportation initiatives on the East Coast. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence infrastructure development by managing large-scale, interdisciplinary highway and transit programs from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identifies and analyzes potential program challenges or opportunities, utilizing all relevant resources to devise optimal solutions.
Oversees complex and sensitive projects across multiple locations, often requiring collaboration with multiple stakeholders due to their scale or intricacy.
Acts independently or as a team leader, representing AECOM with consulting firms, ensuring that final project deliverables align with initial scope and budgetary constraints.
Formulates and maintains detailed program plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.
Guides cross-functional teams and coordinates efforts across various departments to achieve program objectives.
Builds and nurtures strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and executive leadership.
Implements and manages risk management strategies to identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential program risks.
Develops and presents regular program status updates to executive management and stakeholders.
Mentors and cultivates junior program managers and team members to enhance organizational capacity.
Drives initiatives for continuous improvement to enhance program management processes and methodologies.
Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the execution of programs.
Negotiates and manages complex contracts with vendors and partners to support program goals.
Leads change management efforts to ensure successful program implementation and adoption.
