Your Role
We invite you to join our dedicated Battery Science and Data team as a Battery Science & Data Engineer. In this role, you will spearhead an exploratory diagnostic workstream, delving into the advancements that battery diagnostics can bring to our Battery Management Systems. Your work will encompass state estimation of internal battery conditions and progress towards fault and anomaly detection. Collaborating with our lab demonstrators utilizing real BMS hardware, you will assess diagnostic methods practically and convert your insights into algorithm concepts that will enhance our product pipeline.
This position is integral to a focused pre-development team tasked with validating new ideas before they transition to software engineering or cloud deployment. Your contributions will align with the team’s wider objectives in cloud analytics, edge inference, and safety-critical detection algorithms. You will define the methodology while we collectively set the strategic direction.
Your Future Tasks at a Glance
Lead an exploratory workstream, defining the technical direction and executing hands-on work in the lab. Your success will be measured by how effectively lab-tested concepts are integrated into our real-world BMS product pipeline.
Design and evaluate sophisticated diagnostic algorithms for state estimation and detection.
