Your Responsibilities

We are currently seeking Business Analysts specializing in Risk for a major investment bank:

You will be part of an international team of Business Analysts, quants, Risk Managers, and IT experts, working on strategic projects focused on financial risks.

You will contribute to significant projects for the Risk teams, including:

- Analyzing and formalizing requirements related to VaR, sensitivities, stress tests, xVA, and regulatory capital;

- Writing clear functional and technical specifications covering calculation, reporting, and regulatory compliance aspects;

- Prioritizing and tracking the backlog in coordination with Risk Managers, quants, and IT teams;

- Supporting the execution of projects to ensure objectives are met.

This role is essential in ensuring that our cybersecurity practices are up to par with industry standards, thus contributing to the reliability of Alberta's electricity supply.Key Responsibilities:Assess and recommend cybersecurity controls relevant to the OT domain.Conduct integration testing for new cybersecurity measures alongside various security systems.Ensure compliance with ARS CIP and non-CIP standards, as well as ISO27001/27019.Evaluate technical change requests concerning security and compliance risks.Collaborate with multiple teams to embed compliance into everyday processes.Design, develop, implement, and maintain compliance and security procedures.Conduct assessments to identify compliance gaps and risks.Identify areas for continuous improvement, including automation opportunities.Provide training on compliance standards and best practices.Assist business units in investigating compliance breaches and support corrective measures.
