The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business development and licensing, and will play a crucial role in driving strategic growth and uncovering new business opportunities for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish external business opportunities for out-licensing, co-development, and structured transactions.
- Lead the formulation and presentation of business cases for prioritized external opportunities to the management team, incorporating thorough analyses, key assumptions, and risk assessments, along with relevant internal and external insights.
- Proactively initiate, lead, and present external opportunities with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence and alliance management, liaising with R&D, CMC, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, and Finance, serving as the primary business development contact when needed.
- Oversee business development operations and transactions, including proposals, technical summaries, negotiations, deal closures, and alliance management.
- Contribute to the formulation and refinement of business development and licensing strategies that align with the overarching corporate and portfolio objectives.
- Represent Biocytogen at industry, investor, and partnering conferences, fostering and maintaining relationships with a broad spectrum of pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry stakeholders.
