The Business Technology Solutions Business Relationship Manager (BTS BRM) is a crucial link between brand teams and the commercial BTS teams at the affiliate and area/Geo levels. This role supports brand teams in optimizing their digital marketing and data analysis efforts. The BTS BRM actively engages in the planning and execution of both global and local technology implementations and capability development, collaborating closely with Commercial teams, Affiliate BTS leadership, Affiliate Customer Excellence, Area/Geo BTS, and Global BTS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert guidance to Brand Teams and local stakeholders on leveraging technology for enhanced digital activities.
- Analyze the local business environment to identify opportunities for technology integration that align with strategic business objectives.
- Establish strong partnerships with Area/Cluster/Region BTS management, Geo BTS Capability teams, and Corporate BTS services.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and digital strategies, assessing their potential impact on affiliate business operations and existing systems.
- Lead or participate in project teams tasked with the implementation of Global and Area systems at the affiliate and regional levels.
- Define, initiate, and supervise technology projects at both affiliate and regional levels.
- Collaborate with affiliate and Geo teams to prioritize projects and initiatives based on their business impact and resource requirements.
- Ensure that technology projects, including brand initiatives, adhere to local regulatory standards and legal obligations.
- Assist clients in making informed decisions regarding risk management, costs, success metrics, and ROI for affiliate BTS projects.
- Enhance the effectiveness and adoption of platforms and solutions by briefing teams on their advantages and gathering user feedback.
- Encourage innovation and effectively manage change.
- Consult with external partners and clients on technology applications within their organizations.
- Advocate for the value and benefits of Commercial BTS across all areas of expertise.
- Comprehend the external technical landscape and become adept at identifying how it influences AbbVie at the affiliate level and the market opportunities it presents.
- Share best practices and solutions internally within BTS and across affiliates, as well as with Brand Teams.
- Maintain constructive relationships with external parties, ensuring appropriate contractual agreements are in place to protect AbbVie's interests.
