Essential Responsibilities: Deliver direct one-on-one and group care, utilizing intensive teaching methods alongside natural environment training. Implement behavior skill acquisition and reduction protocols as outlined in individual treatment plans established by a BCBA. Accurately collect, record, and summarize data on client behaviors. Support parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment and behavior protocols. Maintain timely and thorough documentation in accordance with established standards. Communicate effectively with caregivers regarding client progress under the guidance of a BCBA. Adhere to safety protocols when working with clients and report any incidents or concerns promptly. Keep the work and therapy environment clean, organized, and safe. Assist the BCBA in preparing client materials and conducting behavior assessments. Required Qualifications: Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dedication to ongoing professional development and effective teamwork.

About the Role

Life Skills Autism Academy, part of Centria Autism, delivers center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for young children with autism. This Decatur-based program uses focused, evidence-based methods to help children build communication, daily living, and social skills.

What You Will Do

  • Work directly with children in a center setting, following individualized ABA therapy plans.
  • Support children as they develop new skills by breaking down daily tasks into manageable steps.
  • Encourage progress in communication, self-care, and social interaction.
  • Collaborate with a team of clinicians to ensure each child's therapy is tailored to their unique needs.

Schedule and Location

  • Full-time position
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Work takes place fully in-center in Decatur, Georgia
