What you will do
- Manage collection efforts for overdue invoices, including direct outreach, follow-ups, and careful documentation of all communications and resolutions.
- Work with customers and internal teams to resolve billing issues, disputes, and inquiries to ensure prompt payment and account resolution.
- Escalate complex collection or billing matters to Collections Management when necessary.
- Complete vendor setup forms and oversee onboarding in customer billing portals.
- Assist with daily cash application, investigating and resolving discrepancies or escalating them as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on collections activities, account statuses, and cash applications.
- Share regular updates on collections performance, risks, and account health with stakeholders.
- Follow established Collections team protocols and comply with audit and internal standards.
