Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (3+ years) in combustion device engineering or related fields. Strong understanding of propulsion systems, small launch vehicle design, and engine testing processes. Proficiency in CAD software for modeling and drawing parts and assemblies. Ability to perform detailed calculations and analyses with minimal supervision. Experience with manufacturing processes including 3D printing, machining, and inspection. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

We are currently seeking a Combustion Devices Engineer II to report to the Senior Manager of E-2 Engineering. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing the highest-performing engines for small launchers, focusing on efficiency in production and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with a dynamic team that has successfully engineered and tested fully integrated engine development samples. As a vital member of our team, you will help finalize the flight engine design and facilitate the transition from development into production.
