Role overview
The analyst works with large datasets, develops dashboards, and provides actionable intelligence on client portfolios, investment performance, and market trends. This position also contributes to automation efforts and ensures compliance with data management regulations.
What you will do
- Aggregate, clean, and analyze financial and client data from multiple sources
- Design and implement dashboards and reports to track portfolio performance, asset allocation, and risk metrics
- Deliver insights on client behavior, investment patterns, and product effectiveness
- Support advisors with data-driven recommendations for client portfolios
- Collaborate with investment teams to evaluate new products and strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in data management and reporting
- Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency
- Present findings to stakeholders using visualizations, presentations, and reports
Requirements
- Advanced skills in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Understanding of financial markets, investment products, and portfolio management concepts
- Proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis and data modeling
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights clearly
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in wealth management (including KYC, AML, SEBI/SEC guidelines)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within financial services or wealth management
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or data analytics credentials are a plus
