Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly skilled and results-oriented Data Protection Engineer to enhance our Cybersecurity, Engineering, and Compliance teams. This pivotal role involves the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of technical measures to safeguard sensitive corporate and customer data across diverse environments, including cloud, endpoint, and enterprise.

As an authority in data security and privacy engineering, you will deploy and optimize data discovery, classification, data loss prevention (DLP), encryption, and key management solutions. Collaboration with Engineering, IT, Compliance, Legal, and Privacy teams will be essential in embedding privacy-by-design principles into the data lifecycle, including creation, storage, sharing, retention, and monitoring.

Success in this role is defined by a measurable reduction in data exposure risk, enhanced compliance adherence (e.g., SOC 2, PCI, privacy obligations), improved efficacy of data protection tools, and the delivery of scalable, audit-ready controls that empower teams to operate swiftly and responsibly.
