About the Role
As the Data Science Team Lead within our AI product team, you will spearhead the development and delivery of impactful AI solutions. Your role will be central to our AI initiatives, involving data analysis, the creation of machine learning models, and close collaboration with our tech team to develop successful AI products that drive business success.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of machine learning algorithms, a strong track record of deploying ML/AI applications in live environments, and previous experience in managing and guiding AI teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 5 to 7 talented data scientists and machine learning engineers.
- Translate product specifications into machine learning challenges and identify key areas where AI can maximize business impact.
- Conduct data analysis to uncover significant patterns and generate actionable insights.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering to enhance the modeling process.
- Establish best practices in model selection, parameter tuning, and optimization.
- Execute comparative experiments for model training.
- Evaluate different solutions by analyzing ML metrics.
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of AI features—from data collection through model design to implementation and optimization in production.
- Mentor junior team members and guide the team through complex projects.
