As a Data Specialist at CGS Federal, you will play a crucial role in assisting our government clients with data processing using LAW. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently loading substantial volumes of production data and executing exports from our database to facilitate discovery party productions. Downloading files from our file-sharing tool, JEFS, and conducting thorough quality control on both load and export files to ensure precision is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Modify load files and perform quality control on loaded data swiftly and accurately.
- Assist in the creation and updating of document processing procedures as necessary.
- Simultaneously manage multiple load streams.
- Conduct native file processing in LAW.
- Export data from Relativity to generate load files for various platforms as requested by the Case Manager.
- Execute data conversion processes, including the conversion of various document types.
- Handle special format data conversions and file manipulation requests.
- Ensure quality control on load files, Relativity data loads, and exports.
- Address advanced requests, such as generating data exports for productions and conducting quality control on files, as well as managing complicated overlays, privilege clawbacks, and document sequestration.
- Perform quality control to verify the accuracy of loads completed by new Data Specialists.
- Provide hands-on training to other Data Specialists as required.
- Conduct basic Relativity searches and global updates to mark and/or tag records as needed, including confirming record counts in Save Searches and image redactions prior to export creation.
- Clearly communicate data inconsistencies found to the Project Manager.
- Assist during calls regarding data load file formats or media encryption software with the Case Manager and other IT personnel as requested.
