About the job
About Applied Intuition
We are an in-office company, expecting employees to work primarily from their Applied Intuition office five days a week. However, we understand the value of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly, which may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home, or leaving early for family commitments.
About the Role
At Applied Intuition, we are redefining vehicle intelligence across commercial and defense sectors. As a Defense Software Engineer, you will take on responsibilities akin to those of a startup CTO: collaborating in small teams and taking ownership of end-to-end execution on high-stakes projects. You will act as the technical liaison between our innovative vehicle intelligence platforms and our customers' real-world operational settings.
This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and operational excellence. You will primarily engage with defense and government clients, integrating our tools, Vehicle OS, and autonomy stacks with DOD platforms in demanding operational environments. The distinctive advantage: you will harness our advanced commercial technology and rapidly evolving product suite to deliver capabilities that traditional defense contractors would take years to develop. You will address challenges encompassing core software engineering, systems integration, and automation.
