RequirementsMust be a U. S. citizen and possess one of the following:A) a high school diploma or GED, along with 20 years of relevant experience in Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys, or Laser program management. B) a bachelor's degree and 15 years of pertinent experience in the same areas. C) a master's degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience. Desired QualificationsProven program management experience overseeing a large support services contract with multiple subcontractors. Familiarity with ACAT-I major weapons systems and ACAT II to IV programs. In-depth knowledge of Navy and Department of War policies and guidelines. Understanding of cost, schedule, and performance metrics related to program execution. Strong supervisory and personnel management capabilities. Exceptional communication and briefing skills.

About the job

Sigma Defense seeks a Deputy Program Manager to support a complex program centered on Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys, and Laser Systems. This position is based on-site in Washington, D. C., working with a Department of War client. The role is contingent on Sigma Defense being awarded the contract.

What you will do

  • Manage all phases of program delivery, including tracking cost, schedule, and performance
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and oversee program risk management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements
  • Align technical, operational, and financial results with program objectives
  • Act as the primary contact for government partners

Requirements

  • Significant experience managing large defense acquisition programs (ACAT I-IV)
  • Strong understanding of Navy and Department of War policies
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Ability to work on-site in Washington, D. C.
