The Development Chef at Flora Food Group will be instrumental in creating compelling selling narratives, anticipating sales calls, and preparing product demonstrations that highlight the unique features and pricing strategies of our offerings. You will spearhead internal discussions to devise a comprehensive training plan for our team, equipping them with essential kitchen sales tools to maximize conversion rates.
Your role will also encompass leading product demonstrations and sampling conversations with potential clients, successfully converting them into loyal Blue Band Professional Service customers.
Key Success Factors in This Role:
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, recipe formulation, and menu innovation, complemented by a solid grasp of product testing methodologies and competitive analysis in the culinary landscape.
- Innovative Product Development: Ability to lead brainstorming sessions for product innovation and develop enticing selling narratives. Stay updated on culinary trends to enhance product capabilities in line with market expectations.
- Communication and Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal skills and leadership qualities are vital. You will need to create engaging selling stories, conduct effective demonstrations, and foster relationships with Direct Sales Representatives, Territory Sales Managers, and Channel Managers.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient in managing customer complaints, ensuring prompt resolutions, and documenting preventive measures. Attention to detail and analytical skills are essential for tracking data and driving continuous improvement.
