Your Role:
As the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will spearhead the design and development of high-voltage circuit designs and hardware systems crucial for our fusion devices. Your leadership will be instrumental in nurturing and guiding a high-performing team of electrical engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, and enhancing execution speed. You will tackle intricate engineering challenges that have a direct impact on machine performance, ultimately contributing to the delivery of sustainable and affordable electricity globally. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering and is based onsite at our Everett, WA office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of electrical engineers
- Supervise the design of machine architecture, pulsed power circuits, grid-interfacing systems, and circuit modeling, including plasma coupling
- Enhance project timelines and optimize workflow within the team to expedite milestone completion
- Drive design, analysis, and process improvements to boost engineering productivity
- Collaborate extensively with Research, Mechanical, and Production teams to establish system requirements and achieve program objectives
