Role Overview

As an Electrical Reliability Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in electrical systems to enhance the reliability of data center operations. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Operations Engineering, you will be a key contributor within the Facilities Operations Engineering team, focusing on system reliability, lifecycle management, technical standards, and providing engineering support throughout design, commissioning, operations, and change events. Your technical acumen will drive critical decisions without the need for formal people management.

Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 30% for project site visits and company events.

Work Arrangement: Denver, CO (hybrid work model) - remote options may be available for exceptional candidates.

Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 (including bonus opportunities)

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Reliability Engineer is responsible for providing lifecycle electrical expertise, establishing standards, validating designs, and supporting construction and operations to ensure systems operate with high availability. This role will oversee the performance and reliability of electrical power distribution, protection systems, standby power, and controls integration, while also shaping maintenance strategies and assessing failure modes. You will play a critical role in L0–L5 commissioning, validating integration logic and operational sequences. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to implement upgrades, evaluate technical changes, and assist in incident reviews, risk assessments, and the establishment of long-term operational standards.
