Requirements:A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (BSc/MSc). At least 4 years of experience in embedded systems programming (C). Expertise in software architecture and microcontroller platforms (such as nRF, STM32, LPC). Hands-on experience with hardware and debugging tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. A curious, pragmatic, and collaborative approach. Fluency in English is essential.

We are in search of a skilled Software Test Engineer with a keen emphasis on software quality, as well as verification and validation processes. This individual will not only code but will also ensure that the code is reliably demonstrable. This role is pivotal in establishing and maintaining test strategies and frameworks for embedded systems.

In this position, you will be involved with smart and interconnected products that adhere to rigorous standards for reliability, safety, and compliance. Your primary focus will be on nRF microcontrollers operating on Zephyr RTOS or similar platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing testable low-level embedded software in C.

  • Establishing and sustaining test frameworks for embedded systems.

  • Creating unit, integration, and regression tests.

  • Automating tests, including in our GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

  • Conducting tests on target hardware and utilizing hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) configurations.

  • Interpreting test results and systematically enhancing software quality.

  • Participating in software architecture decisions with a focus on testability.

  • Collaborating closely with hardware, software, and design engineers to realize product development.

  • Taking Ownership of deliverables and working autonomously within a transparent, collaborative environment.
