The Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician position centers on providing hands-on emergency care in a hospital setting. This role involves working closely with veterinarians and team members to manage urgent and critical cases, ensuring both pets and their owners receive attentive, compassionate support. The position is well-suited for technicians looking to apply their skills in a fast-moving environment and continue developing professionally.

What you will do

  • Deliver attentive care to patients and clients, maintaining a supportive atmosphere throughout each visit.
  • Provide nursing care and emotional support to pet owners during emergencies, from triage through discharge.
  • Administer medications and perform medical procedures such as IV placements and blood transfusions.
  • Work collaboratively with veterinarians and other team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in CPR and participate in ongoing training to advance clinical skills.
