Your Role as an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician
As a vital member of our emergency care team, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment where every second matters. You will manage a variety of cases, from the simplest to the most complex emergencies, working closely with our veterinarians to deliver compassionate, top-tier care. Your duties will include triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while providing reassurance to pet parents during their most challenging moments. This position is perfect for someone eager to utilize their training, expand their skill set, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of pets and their families.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide empathetic care to every patient and their owner, ensuring they feel supported throughout their experience.
- Act swiftly to deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during critical moments, from triage to discharge.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and execute complex procedures, including IVs and blood transfusions.
- Collaborate effectively with your team, contributing to treatment plans and ensuring seamless care.
- Be prepared to perform CPR as a trained RECOVER professional, benefiting from our extensive training programs and expertise.
