As the Engineering Manager for the Console UI team, you will lead and develop a frontend-focused engineering team responsible for defining the user experience for a strategic platform initiative at 1Password. You will guide a team dedicated to creating admin and developer interfaces that simplify complex security and infrastructure functionalities, making them intuitive and trustworthy.
You will closely collaborate with Product, Design, Identity, Security, and Backend Platform teams to transform foundational runtime systems into straightforward workflows for configuring machine identities, managing secure integrations, defining access controls, and auditing activities. This is a foundational team that shapes how customers engage with an entirely new layer of 1Password.
You will mentor engineers, foster a strong culture of frontend excellence, and establish the technical direction for a UI surface that must scale in both complexity and impact. Balancing rapid iteration with long-term architectural vision, you will ensure that the Console evolves into a cohesive and reliable experience as the platform expands. This role requires a comfort with ambiguity and the ability to help shape both product and team dynamics.
