Job Summary:

Join Panelmatic, a premier manufacturer of control panels, relay panels, and integrated control buildings serving North America. We seek a meticulous and detail-oriented Estimator to enhance our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone eager to apply their skills in a stimulating environment. The Estimator will assess project specifications and develop accurate, timely cost estimates for various projects at Panelmatic. A strong grasp of electrical systems, construction methodologies, and industry standards is essential. Collaborating with Sales, Project Managers, Engineering, and Product Managers, the Estimator will ensure our bids are both precise and competitive.

In this role, you will directly contribute to our mission of providing top-quality products that meet customer specifications, timelines, and budgets. You will report to the Corporate Estimating Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Estimating software to develop estimates based on specifications and drawings provided by customers.
  • Work closely with Sales, customers, project managers, and product managers to clarify project scopes.
  • Generate bills of materials from electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Request quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
  • Compose proposal letters for customers, including BOM, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records in the database/ERP and CRM systems for all quotes.
  • Meet output requirements and ensure proposals are delivered on time.
  • Complete customer forms and bid sheets as necessary.
