Your Profile:You hold a degree in engineering or equivalent and have at least 5 years of operational experience as an ATS/PCC/SCADA engineer on metro projects. Your Strengths:You possess a comprehensive understanding of major functions and technical architecture of SCADA or rail traffic supervision products. You can address software architecture issues, including IP network communications and virtualization principles. You are proficient in English and/or Spanish. A team player with strong interpersonal skills, you thrive in project environments.

Join Egis, a leader in architecture and engineering, as we seek an Experienced ATS Engineer for our Metro division. Our Transport and Territories sector boasts an annual turnover exceeding €600M, focusing on innovative multimodal transport solutions and sustainable territorial development.

In this role, you will be an integral part of a project team, overseeing studies and the follow-up of projects from inception to system delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

Your main responsibilities will include:

During the Study Phase:

  • Conducting expert audits of existing systems and participating in working groups.
  • Developing feasibility and preliminary design studies from both technical and economic perspectives.
  • Analyzing client needs and expectations.
  • Preparing consultation documents and evaluating candidate offers.

During the Construction Phase:

  • Managing technical and contractual aspects with the winning company.
  • Monitoring and controlling execution studies.
  • Ensuring compliance through VISA processes.
  • Reporting to the Market Manager and the Client.
  • Presenting technical issues to project stakeholders and making technical suggestions related to Command Control (ATS, SCADA, etc.).
  • Overseeing factory/site tests and monitoring modifications.
  • Supervising the installation of market equipment and ensuring project timelines are met.
  • Leading reception and testing operations, analyzing anomalies for resolution.

You will also be responsible for managing centralized command interfaces, participating in interface meetings, and ensuring contract compliance.
