About The Role
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager with a robust background in civil engineering, particularly in overseeing the construction of warehouses, factories, and various other medium to large-scale industrial structures. This pivotal role is essential for the successful planning, execution, and completion of our forthcoming civil construction initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing such projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are finalized on time, within budget, and uphold the highest quality standards. They will work closely with site teams, supervise subcontractors, and guarantee compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the execution of civil construction projects, including warehouses, factories, and industrial facilities, as well as other commercial and prefabricated projects.
- Create detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure efficient project execution.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure all project phases adhere to technical and design specifications.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality work and compliance with project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and quality control inspections, addressing any issues that arise during construction.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and potential issues.
- Efficiently manage project resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies across projects to enhance overall project delivery.
- Lead and mentor project teams, promoting collaboration and high performance in a fast-paced work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing civil construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and meet specifications.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Thorough understanding of construction project management tools and best practices.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and legal frameworks applicable to civil and commercial construction.
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the capability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project or similar).
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and teams concurrently.
